Want to lock in Amazon Prime membership for 10% off?
Amazon is currently offering Amazon Prime gift memberships at 10% off, which comes out to $107. You can use these gift memberships either for yourself, or you can give them as a gift now, or in the future to someone else.
You can purchase these memberships and send them to your or your friends email. If you wan to use them for yourself, once your current Prime membership expires, simply open the email and click the link to the Prime membership, which will then activate the new membership.
Whichever Amazon account opens the email, that account will get the 1 year of Prime. If you currently have an active Prime membership and open the email, it will ask you if you want to convert the membership to a gift card. This way, if you purchase multiple of these gift memberships, and later on change your mind, you can then just simply convert them back into Amazon gift cards, for the original amount paid for the memberships!
You can purchase as many gift memberships as you want, though you can only purchase 1 gift membership at a time. These memberships will always be good for a year of Prime, regardless if the Prime membership price rises, and they will never expire!
Keep in mind though, that Amazon generally has the Prime membership set to auto-renew. Therefore, make sure to set your Prime settings to not auto-renew.
You can set your membership to not auto renew, by clicking here. Once you click the link, click on “Update Your settings” Then click on “End Membership”.
Then click on “Cancel My Benefits”, then on “Continue to cancel”. Finally, click on the button to end your membership at the date, which it would normally renew.
You will then receive a confirmation that your Prime membership will end on the said future date.
