Update: Apparently it seems that, unlike the previous Prime deal, where you can buy gift memberships for the reduced rate, this time around you can not. Instead of marking the price on Amazon Prime down to $67, Amazon is just giving a $32 discount at checkout. Therefore only new Amazon Prime members can partake in this deal.

This Friday the 25th only, from 12am ET until 11:59pm PT, Amazon will be offering up Amazon Prime for only $67! Amazon Prime is regularly $99 per year.
This promo is officially for new members only, but if you already have Prime and would like to get the discount and lock in this low rate for the future, you can buy gift memberships for $67 and use it later on your own account, as Amazon Prime gift memberships never expire!
Here’s how:
Go here and add 1 or more gift memberships to your cart. Each gift membership will be good for a full year of Amazon Prime and will never expire, so you can purchase now for as many years as you want. When asked for the recipients email, you can enter any email address of your choosing, including your own email address.Choose any date (up to a year from now) you want the gift membership/s to be emailed. You can choose to have it emailed on the date your current Prime membership expires.A Prime membership redemption code will be emailed to you.Enter this code when your Prime membership expires to renew your membership. Note: Be sure to redeem the code once your current Prime membership expires, otherwise if redeemed while your current Prime account is still active, you will receive a $67 Amazon credit to your account instead. — Also be sure to uncheck automatic renewal for your current membership. You can do so by going here, and clicking on “End Membership” then click on the “End Later”option, when your Prime is set for renewal. If these options are not clickable, this means that your account is not set to auto-renew.
The unused Amazon Prime memberships, can always be converted back into regular Amazon gift cards, if you ever change your mind about Prime.
