Amazon will be raising the price of Amazon Prime tomorrow to $119.

If you are currently a member, the new annual fee will apply starting with renewals on or after June 16, 2018.

The good news is though, that you can lock in the current lower rate of $99, for multiple years, with Amazon Prime gift memberships and use it later on your own account, as Amazon Prime gift memberships never expire and they will always be good for a year of Prime! Plus, if you ever change your mind, you can always convert the gift memberships into simple Amazon gift cards.

You can buy $99 Prime Gift Memberships here. You can only purchase one at a time, but you can purchase as many times a you like.

You can also currently join Amazon Prime for $99 via this link with a free trial.

1. Go here and add a Prime gift membership to your cart. Each gift membership will be good for a full year of Amazon Prime and will never expire, so you can purchase now for as many years as you want.
2. When asked for the recipients email, you can enter any email address of your choosing, including your own email address.
3. Choose any date (up to a year from now) you want the gift membership/s to be emailed. You can choose to have it emailed on the date your current Prime membership expires.
4. A Prime membership redemption code will be emailed to you.
5. Enter this code when your Prime membership expires to renew your membership. Note: Be sure to redeem the code once your current Prime membership expires, otherwise if redeemed while your current Prime account is still active, you will receive a $99 Amazon credit to your account instead. — Also be sure to uncheck automatic renewal for your current membership. You can do so by going here, and clicking on “End Membership” then click on the “End Later”option, when your Prime is set for renewal. If these options are not clickable, this means that your account is not set to auto-renew.

The unused Amazon Prime memberships, can always be converted back into regular Amazon gift cards, if you ever change your mind about Prime.
